Bowling: Right arm medium slow…more on the slow side these days!!
Best Batting: Top score for CI 1st XI is 59…back in the day against Dunmurry, never get a meaningful bat at number 11 these days, but did top score and make 35 against Laurelvale in that famous 1st round Senior Cup win back in 2006 to set us on our way to Strangford Road!!
Best Bowling: Lots of “4 and 5 For’s” for the 1st XI, did take 9-48 off 22 overs playing in England for Fleetwood Hesketh.
Best Cricket Moment: I have been really lucky to have so many over the years. That 1st round win in the Senior Cup in 2006 against Laurelvale was some match, captaining CI to Section 2 (2005) and Section 1 (2007) Championships and avoiding relegation in our first year in the Premier League (2008). Beating Waringstown in the 2010 Senior Cup semi-final  at Belmont and Instonians in the previous round. Being part of CI’s T20 winning team in 2010, securing CI’s first ever piece of major silverware, but without a doubt the Lisburn Senior Cup semi-final match at Belmont in 2006 was the best match I played in…it had everything!! Before the match we had “Lucogate”, where Luco thought he was Spiderman & tries to drop off Tony’s balcony, wrecking his knee in the process!!  CI ground out just over 200 with Deeko making 76, and supported superbly by Sleithy (16), Tony (26) and Macky (17*). Lisburn where cruising at 111 for 3 when I came onto to bowl with Flan. Between myself (4-29), Flan (2-26) and Johnny Hewitt (3-27), along with some superb catching (Deeko still has nightmares about Neville Moore running on the pitch & kissing him after taking a catch at cow corner!!) and the atmosphere of our home crowd, we won by 33 runs.
Worst Cricket Moment: A certain opponent not walking when Chunter caught him at point & disputed the catch…really wrangled with me as in the previous match I “caught” him and the umpire was in the process of giving him out when I didn’t claim the catch as I felt it hadn’t carried…he knows who he is!!!

Best Bowling: 3-3 of 5.2 overs against Derriaghy 2nds, they were 120 odd for 2 chasing 180 (I think)  when their best bat retired on 70 because he had tickets to the opera house!  Chasing the game I took off the gloves and Andy threw me the ball and with the help of a great catch by Matt Dempsey we went on to win the game by 8 runs!
Best Cricket Moment: Playing Holywood last year, they were 190 – 2 chasing 222 to win with their pro on 130 odd, we went on to take 7 wickets and with them needing 2 runs to win. With their number 11 at the crease, he nailed it straight into my gloves standing up, only for the umpire to signal not out! We got him 2 balls later though with me juggling the catch! Winning Section 2 back in 07 and 20/20 Shield in 09
Worst Cricket Moment: I can’t think of many, maybe the 20/20 cup final in 2010 losing to Cliftonville with most of us playing like k**bs, 4 of us went out the night before and between the 4 of us we scored a combined total of about 6 runs (including 2 first ballers) and our opening bowler bowled the first ball of the match over the batsman’s head!
